Professional Background
I am an Emergency Medicine Physician with significant leadership experience at multiple academic medical centers, highly involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education, with increasing interest and involvement in emergency department clinical operations. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with and learning from medical students and residents. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, I have the opportunity to use my past experiences to educate members of the future generation of emergency medicine. I have extensive background in treating patients with oncologic emergencies, sickle cell disease, and victims of sexual assault and other violent crimes.
